December 2004 - Outside the window
Fondo, Val di Non, Trentino (Italy) Fondo is a little village located in the high part of the Val di Non, place full of historical remains and Middle Ages. It shows interesting naturalistic elements: the built-up area was divided in two parts by the brook "Rio Sass", that in the course of the Centuries has created a deep canyon (it reaches 90 metres of depth) where is possible to make an exciting excursion. Nearby the village you'll also find a nice lake, the Smeraldo lake, where in winter it is possible ice-skating. **Lovely memories** |
